Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before placing your order with Adriana Manfredi Cakes. By proceeding, you agree to the terms and conditions of sale as outlined below. 

INGREDIENTS

All cakes, fillings and icings may contain, or come into contact with soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergens.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform me prior to the confirmation of their booking of any allergy issues. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information and accordingly the Supplier will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the product.

QUOTES & PAYMENTS

When you have been issued an invoice (which is valid for 7 days) a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking (via bank transfer). Failure to make payment will result in your order being cancelled and no refund from previous payments will be given. The reminder of the balance is due 6 weeks before your event date. For all orders of less than 30 days notice, payment is due in full.

CANCELLATIONS/ CHANGE OF DATE

  • All cancellations, changes or updates must be received in writing.

  • If an order is cancelled within 14 days prior to the event date, then a full refund will NOT be an option at this stage. Please be aware that many hours go into the creation of a cake. Quite often edible hand-made flowers and mediums are made in advance.

  • COVID-19 policy: Should your order be postponed/cancelled due to a recent change in restrictions, you will be able to transfer your booking and any deposit made to a future date if at least 7 days notice is given. If less than 7 days notice NO refund will be provided.

  • However, if Adriana Manfredi Cakes has to cancel the order with you for any particular reason (e.g. illness or accident) or situations out of our control, a full refund will be provided to you with no further compensation available. A suitable cake decorator will be provided for you to complete your order.

CAKE DESIGN

Any products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will NOT be an exact reproduction of the product. Whilst Adriana Manfredi Cakes will make every effort to produce a high-end quality product, and that the Client is aware that there may be slight differences due to tools, equipment, techniques or mediums used based on the original photo supplied.

Once the invoice has been provided to the Client the design of the cake is fixed:

  • Where changes to design result in more cost or labour and skill involved than quoted, then the balance will be adjusted to suit the new requirements.

  • If the Client wishes to reduce the size of the order after the invoice has been paid, the total cost will not be reduced.

  • If you decide to change your order once an invoice has been provided a fee will be incurred if your cake needs to be redesigned and re-quoted.

DELIVERY

Delivery fees will be determined by the kilometers between your venue and my location, and the amount of time needed for assembly. Generally, 3 tiered wedding cakes are transported pre-stacked and do not require assembly time at the venue. Larger cakes are often transported semi- assembled and finished at the venue, or required a full assembly at the venue.

Delivery will be carried out in a safe, appropriate manner and handled with care. Once delivered to the venue and change of hands has been completed, after this exchange we are not liable for any damages.

ACTS OF GOD CLAUSE

For an event to trigger a force majeure clause that remains serious enough that it renders impossible for Adriana Manfredi Cakes to perform its contractual obligations due to, but not limited to natural disasters or any other destructive events (pandemic, war) which are utterly outside of our control.

STORAGE

All buttercream cakes must be stored in a refrigerator and brought to room temperature (under the correct conditions) before the guests arrive to achieve the best results for taste and quality.

FRESH FLOWERS

If your cake requires fresh flowers and has been organised by the Client. Please ensure that the flowers are left at the venue or dropped off at my location before your event. We cannot be held responsible for the toxicity or contamination from the flowers that are not handled or placed by Adriana Manfredi Cakes.

By placing an order and paying the non- refundable deposit, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out above.
